    Gardening Book

    Posted by Lisa M H on 9th Apr 2020

Stunningly beautiful book, packed full of useful and succinct information. Separated into plant type (e.g.s perennials, roses, climbers, etc), then subdivided by size, seasonal interest, colour. Plants in main body are listed by their Latin names, but there is an index of common names at the back, though it would have been helpful if those could have been included within the information box on the main page for each plant entry - but that's a minor quibble. Full of gloriously detailed photos for every plant, this is a book both for quick referencing and to leisurely pore over: and, as the other reviewer said, it's very big and heavy (which I was expecting) and not a pocket guide. Would highly recommend the book, and the service from A Great Read.
