    Clear, delicious recipes with beautiful photography

    The selection of recipes is divided helpfully into sections so you can decide what you want to cook based on the intended audience (canapes for a party, quick supper at home, something spectacular for a special occasion) and there are plenty of notes included to ensure you don't over-face yourself or feel too daunted by seemingly complex ingredients lists.

    Some of the recipes involve preparation a day in advance, others require ingredients which take a bit of effort to find. However, there are appealing ideas on almost every page so I am determined to try a few more before long. Meat eaters and vegetarians will find something to try, and there are plenty of unusual sweet recipes to bake.

    There's a series of photographs to teach the reader how to turn out a one-pot dish which has made me want to attempt it just for the dramatic effect. That's the sign of a recipe book I will use more than once - inspiring me with the wish to try something I have never tried before.

    I expect I will be using my copy very regularly. I also want to try out their restaurants in London!
